Already at the 14th edition, “Strugurele De Aur” Folklore Festival is one of the best opportunities for a traveler to get a proper induction to the Romanian traditional music. Over 100 young artists coming from all across Romania, representing various ethnographic regions, compete for a place in the final. The competition takes place in the middle of September in Jidvei – the heartland of Transylvania’s “Wine Country” region – as well as in Alba Iulia.
